Today's Women's Words are from Dr. Scilla Elworthy, a peace builder, and the founder of the Oxford Research Group, a non-governmental organization set up in 1982 that develops effective dialogue between nuclear weapons policy-makers worldwide and their critics. She was nominated three times for the Nobel Peace Prize. She was also instrumental in setting up The Elders - an international non-governmental organization of public figures know for their peace and human rights activism, that were brought together by Nelson Mandela in 2007.
