Jim McMahon is Director, Talent Acquisition and Military Outreach for Travelers Companies, Inc.
He is a member of the Clinton Global Initiative Veterans Working Group and was the first employer to go on record to show his support of 3 Generations' newest campaign. 3 Generations has partnered with a number of organizations representing and supporting Iraq and Afghanistan veterans to produce a public awareness campaign aimed at helping bridge the military/civilian divide with respect to jobs and employment. Veterans have manifest skills and qualifications, yet the general public is often at a loss to identify and quantify them. Through a campaign of stories we hope to raise awareness and inspire the general public to understand this generation of veterans better and to consider hiring them. We have interviewed veterans who have successfully re-built their civilian lives using skills learned in the military.
